The Idolatry of God by Peter Rollins (book review)

Several months ago, in Letting Others See Your Broken Pieces, I mentioned a book by Peter Rollins called The Idolatry of God: Breaking Our Addiction to Certainty and Satisfaction.  The book premise is when we seek God as a “fix” for our hole of uncertainty and unknowing, we just make him into another idol.  I promised I would share more about once I had read it.  I did read and review the book over the summer, but didn’t realize until this past weekend that my review had been posted on the website for Evangelicals for Social Action.  If you’re interested, here’s the link: The Idolatry of God: Breaking Our Addiction to Certainty and Satisfaction.
